The worship committee meets to plan, discuss, and evaluate the worship experiences we offer. The committee plans and schedules special worship services for the different seasons of the Church year. It also makes an effort to include a variety of persons in our worship through instrumental and vocal music, ushering, greeting, readings, PowerPoint facilitation, Zoom management, etc.

Church and Society committee is responsible for educating members about social justice issues, advocating for policy change, and mobilizing the congregation to take action on concerns like poverty, environmental justice, and human rights, essentially connecting the church's faith to broader societal issues and advocating for positive change within the community and at a policy level. We do this by organizing workshops, seminars, and discussions to raise awareness among church members about important social issues, which can lead to advocacy efforts like contacting elected officials, participating in marches, and supporting legislation aligned with the church's social values. This committee is also responsible for recommending and disbursing Church’s mission funds.

The Finance Committee keeps track of the financial status of our congregation, and provides a check and balance system to see that we are good stewards of the financial gifts entrusted to our church. The committee also develops and carries out plans to raise income to support the approved budget. The committee consists of a Chairperson, who prepares a yearly budget and reviews detailed reports of receipts and expenses that our church has each month, a Financial Secretary, who counts weekly offerings, and a Treasurer, who carries out all disbursements for the church.

Because HA:N UMC is a virtual church community, we have to be more focused on how we can invite new visitors and members not only through the traditional means of personal invitation, but also through online and social media channels. The Marketing Committee is responsible for creating and discussing social media content via (Instagram, Facebook) as well as maintaining and updating the website so that it can be a source of useful information for the visitors and our community.

The primary role of the SPRC is to support the pastor, staff, and their families in order to promote unity in the church. SPRC recommends staff positions, compensation, and other financial matters, and develops and approves staff job descriptions and titles. SPRC also creates and updates policies for hiring, evaluating, promoting, retiring, and dismissing staff, as well as screening lay employees and volunteer staff.
